NH LTC community events (Feb 2023)

National Highways have announced a series of LTC community events in February 2023 at various locations.

These events are supposed to be to give people the chance to chat with a member of the NH/LTC team. They will be providing information on the planning process and how you can register to get involved when the LTC Development Consent Order application is examined by a panel of independent experts later this year. They will also be showing the latest fly-through video of the route.

Is it usual for NH to hold community events during the Development Consent Order (DCO) period?

We are not aware of any other NH projects that have had any community events like this after the DCO application has been submitted.  We can only assume it is part of the NH propaganda and greenwash machine for LTC, because they are aware how precarious the project might be!

Where else can I find out more about registering to take part in LTC DCO process?

We have an update on our website with details of how and where to register as an Interested Party so you can show your opposition and continue to have your say in the LTC DCO process – https://www.thamescrossingactiongroup.com/dco-registering-as-an-interested-party/

Please do register before 23:59 on 24th February 2023.
