Compulsory Acquisition Hearing 4 (CAH4)

Event Details

Compulsory Acquisition Hearing 4 – ‘Objections’, will take place on 18th October.  This is a hearing for those who are officially considered Affected Parties only.  That is, those whose land and/or property is directly impacted by the proposed LTC.

Find out more about this requirement and Compulsory Acquisition Hearings here.

If any Affected Persons (APs) objecting to Compulsory Acquisition (CA) or Temporary Possession (TP) requests wish to be heard then they should request to be heard in a Compulsory Acquisition Hearing (CAH3 or 4) both of which are to hear individual CA or TP objections. Please note that whilst you may express a preference to be heard at one or the other of the CAHs, the ExA’s primary consideration will be to ensure that a reasonable opportunity to be heard has been provided to all APs requesting to be heard: you may not be offered a hearing on your preferred date.

Please note that this hearing is specifically for those listed in the agenda, further CAH may possibly take place in Nov for other Affected Parties who have requested to speak at a CAH. The agenda for this hearing will be published at least 5 working days before the hearing.

Location: Blended event – In person at Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch Hotel & Spa, Brands Hatch, West Kingsdown, Dartford, DA3 8PE / Online via Microsoft Teams

Starting: 10am, with registration for the hearing from 9.15am

The Examining Authority (ExA) will publish a detailed agenda on the project webpage at least five working days in advance of the Hearing date. However, the actual agenda on the day of each Hearing may be subject to change at the discretion of the ExA.  This hearing is aimed at Affected Persons.

If for any reason you can no longer attend the CAH after registering to attend please advise the LTC Case Team asap via email or call 0303 444 5000.  Please use the same contact details for any questions relating to the CAH.

NB. There may possibly be other dates reserved for other CAH in November if required.  Please see our LTC DCO Process Timeline for more info on the reserved dates.
