National Highways Gravesend LTC Info Event

Event Details

National Highways/LTC have announced a Gravesend LTC info event as part of 4 new info events.

The events will be a drop-in events between 4-8pm in 4 different locations, Upminster, East Tilbury, Orsett, and Gravesend.

Evidently they will be providing information on their proposed new or improved walkers, cyclists, and horse rider routes as well as keeping people updated on how they are working with local schools and businesses to create opportunities for new jobs and skills.

When is the Gravesend LTC info event?

  • Thurs 3rd March – 4-8pm at Kent Room, Gravesham Borough Council Civic Centre, Windmill Street, Gravesend, Kent DA 1AU

It is important to stress these are not consultation events.  However, they are now drawing up plans for a further consultation which they will be sharing further details of in due course.

There was mention of their engagement with local authorities about the proposed consultation at the January 2022 LTC Task Force meeting (Thurrock Council) whereby proposed dates for a 4 week consultation were 24th March-22nd April, which clashes with purdah in Havering and Thurrock, and Easter.  But to be clear we know local authorities are raising concerns about the consultation proposals, and it remains to be seen how National Highways/LTC will proceed.

Please note this is NOT a Thames Crossing Action Group event
